IT'S A WRAP

ghanaladies47I like this simplicity of this look. In that amazing bright print fabric, this large pleated waist skirt is such a great statement piece. And paired with the short sleeved tank top allows the skirt to take centre stage all the more.

The little head scarf she got going on is sooo cute! Scarves and wraps are a great way to keep your ears warm in this cold weather and add a nice pop of colour to any outfit. And seeing that it’s in our Ghanaian culture to wear head ties and wraps anyway, why not bring the look into the twenty first century by using our traditional fabrics and prints and make it a more mainstream thing? The wrapping technique may change according to the size and shape of the material.   I am assuming this creative chica used what was left over from that gorgeous skirt and judging the size of the material, the back to front tie technique was the best option for this look to work.

Now although we can’t see the footwear, I’d pair this look with a pair of nude or black gladiator sandal. Over to your gorgeous petals; where would you wear this look and what footwear would you wear the look with?
